Hi, I’m Grace
I’m a freelance content designer, originally from Yorkshire but now based in London.
I first became fascinated with content design whilst I was working in communications at a charity early in my career. Since then, I’ve been an advocate for content design principles and user-centred design in all of my work.
I have introduced content design ways of working and built content design teams from scratch at large, national organisations. I’ve also been a key member of agile, multidisciplinary teams working on digital services.
I have led content design and digital work in the public sector, charities and education. I have experience working with complex policy, legislation, scientific and academic information, as well as large and complex websites with diverse audiences.
I made the move into freelancing so I could work alongside more organisations doing great and meaningful work. I find I’m most fulfilled when I can see how my work is making a difference.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me doing yoga, reading Elena Ferrante, watching too many videos about interior design or working on my latest quilting project.
